PT Marubeni Indonesia (PTMI) and PT Matlamat Cakera Canggih (MCC) have joined hands in a humanitarian initiative to support communities affected by the recent devastating floods in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The disaster has resulted in severe damage to infrastructure, homes, and livelihoods, leaving many families displaced and in urgent need of assistance.

As part of this initiative, from 9–15 December, a donation drive was organized internally by placing a donation box at the company’s reception area. This simple yet meaningful approach provided an accessible way for employees to contribute and express their solidarity with the affected communities.

The response from employees was highly encouraging. Many colleagues from various departments took part and contributed generously, reflecting a strong spirit of empathy, unity, and corporate social responsibility within PTMI and MCC. This initiative once again demonstrated how collective efforts within the workplace can create a positive impact beyond the office walls.

All donations collected during the campaign have been handed over to the Indonesian Red Cross (Palang Merah Indonesia). The funds will be used to support ongoing humanitarian efforts, including the provision of basic necessities and emergency assistance to those in need.
